The death of Mrs. Margaret A. Briggs, age 84, occurred at near noon today at her home at 410 Walnut Street, following an illness of general debility. Mrs. Briggs leaves one son, Nboel Campbell, who made his home with his mother, and one sister, Mrs. Martin of this city. Mrs. Brigges had been a long resident of Greencastle her late husband, Howard Briggs, at one time being in the newspaper business in this city. The funeral arrangements have yet been made - kbz

The funeral of Mrs. Margaret Briggs, whose death occurred Thurday at her home on Walnut Street, will be held at the residence on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. The services will be conducted by the Rev. Victor Raphael. Burial will be in Forest Hill cemetery. The pall bearers will be Edward Black; Charley Bridges; Gustavus Williamson; JP Allen; FA Hays and MM Marshall - kbz
